Kittiwake Economic Development Corporation adopts new look!
The Kittiwake Economic Development Corporation has adopted a new look. The Corporation has adopted the provincial Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Economic Development Association’s (NLREDA) logo, in an effort to unite under one common brand.
To date, 12 of the 19 regional economic boards in the province have adopted this new look. “It is a sign that boards are beginning to understand the value in common branding and the associated benefits of common identification. Using the common graphic will enable business and community groups to identify work undertaken by the regional economic boards; the common brand will help reduce disconnect between boards throughout the province” says Jill Bennett, Executive Director of KEDC.
KEDC is excited about this new look and is anxious to have all of its marketing material transitioned over in the very near future.
Background
Incorporated in 1995, KEDC is the regional economic development board for the northeast coast of the Island portion of the province. Its boundaries encompass Charlottetown located in Terra Nova National Park, west to Lewisporte and north to Fogo Island. KEDC sets its direction under a 14 member volunteer board of directors representing a variety of sectors throughout the region.
