Lewisporte and Area (Sub Zone 6)
The community of Lewisporte has the second largest population within the entire Zone, and as such it serves as a service center for the 17 smaller communities found throughout the Zone. The establishment of a technical and industrial trades college, restaurants, family fitness centre and an office supply store are a few of this sub zone’s amenities. There is also a world class marina facility coupled with the only deep sea seep port in Central Newfoundland with a working dock.
